Meet the Owner
Hey Sister, I’m so glad you are here!
Let me first take you to the very beginning! I was born and raised in small town Alberta, Canada
in a rodeo family with a ranching background, and my roots run deep in thewestern lifestyle. My husband is a professional bull rider, my dad is a past
Canadian champion team roper, and I have spent my entire life on the back of a horse.
I have always had a love for fashion and since I can remember I have had a dream of owning a boutique. After graduating high school, I headed to Texas to further my education on a rodeo scholarship (barrel racing was my main event). I started off at Hill College and then transferred to A&M Commerce. I fell in love with
Texas, and knew this is where I wanted to call home.
During my time in college, I prepared for the future in the boutique industry, and when I finally finished school in 2021, I jumped in head first, sold my good rodeo horses, and put my rodeo career on hold in order to put everything I had into my boutique. In October 2021 Cowgirl Vogue Boutique was born.
Cowgirl Vogue started out in my parent’s basement back home in Alberta, Canada where I did tradeshows and sold online. I missed Texas, knew that was where I wanted to be, so in February of 2023 I packed up and headed back to Hillsboro, Texas
where I opened our storefront in May of 2023!
I love Texas, but back home in Alberta, Canada will always have a huge part of my heart. I was raised in the Connor Creek community, and my entire family, back to my great grandparents all lived there too. It made me who I am, and will forever be home. Rebranding the boutique to Connor Creek Boutique is the best decision I’ve ever made. And now I’ll always have a piece of home here with me in Texas.
I’ve always believed that the handiest cowgirls can also be the prettiest, most high maintenance girls! I wanted to create a place where not just cowgirls, but all women, can shop the latest fashion trends…with a slight western flair of course! If you are a cowgirl yourself, or just love the western industry, you are welcome here!
Thank you for coming on this journey with me!
Xoxo,
Bryce
